Ricoh Company Ltd has today announced that it has reached a definitive agreement with IKON Office Solutions, Inc. to acquire IKON through RICOH’s wholly owned U.S. distribution subsidiary, Ricoh Americas Corporation (”RAC”).

Ricoh has been a key supplier to IKON for 20 years.  The new relationship between the two will enable  dealers to offer a full range of end-to-end office solutions and services by combining Ricoh’s world-leading equipment with IKON’s customised document management systems.

The synergy between Ricoh and IKON will bring to the market place a full range of products and industry leading distribution and service capabilities.
