RICOH believe in a product lifecycle approach to the environment called "The Whole Journey". The environmental impact of its products are analysed at every step of the lifecycle and steps are taken to minimise this impact.

Five times internationally recognized in the “Global 100” of sustainable companies, RICOH’s environmental policies are well known.
With only about 15% of the 65million printer ink and toner cartridges used in the UK recycled and the majority ending up in landfill, you’ll understand why RICOH is committed to “The Whole Journey”.
RICOH has appointed eRECO to manage part of the recycling scheme for print consumables. eRECO is a WEEE (waste electrical and electronic equipment) disposal specialist who can also assist you.
PRINT CONSUMABLES
The print consumable scheme is straight forward and friendly: You will be given specially designed bags that hold approx 24 units, when full call or email to arrange collection.
eRECO will provide a variety of documentation that can be used in environmental audits or help with achieving and maintaining ISO14001: 2004 accreditation or EMAS (Eco-Management and Audit Scheme) approval.
Even more good news - the scheme accepts toner bottles and cartridges from any manufacturer. The materials recovered are used to manufacture a variety of products including washing machine parts, traffic cones, building materials - products which can, in turn, be recycled again.
Participation in the scheme costs £30 per bag which includes provision of the bag, collection and tracking of materials sent for recycling.
DISPOSAL OF MACHINERY
Under the WEEE (Waste of Electrical and Electronic Equipment) Directive, businesses can no longer put electrical / electronic devices into waste collection.
If you are upgrading / replacing your existing machine(s), when we deliver the replacements we will take all complete machines away at a one off charge of £50. Any incomplete devices will be charged at a further £50 per device.
