The Problems

System One has worked with Air Business for over 10 years.

Previously we have helped streamline their word processing applications with the introduction of Planet Press enabling documents to be produced with variable data via seven high volume printers.

Whilst this solution has been effective, Air Business' portfolio and requirements have changed.

Consequently System One was again asked for guidance.

The Benefits

Through discussions with Air Business we identified the need to review: the volume and productivity of machines, together with a consideration to offer colour printing to their clients.

Whilst up time has always been of an exceptionally high standard, with print volumes of 3 million per month, this is paramount.

The Solution

It was agreed to rationalize the fleet to seven of Ricoh's newest high volume and one mid volume colour machine.

Air Business now has streamlined equipment, providing simpler consumable ordering and maintenance, and allows them to offer clients in-house colour printing.

The MP 1357 and ProC 5110 both deliver prints at 135 and 80 pages per minute respectively, are highly reliable, fully customizable devices with a unique range of finishing options. Marketed as "the beating heart of the business" they certainly deliver this function at Air Business.
