News / What's happening at System One

Tees Law are a major regional law firm with offices in Bishops Stortford, Cambridge, Chelmsford and Saffron Walden.  Their expansionist ethos has seen recent mergers in Northampton, Cambridge and Chelmsford.  To support this ambitious growth and their commitment to innovation, the business has consulted with System One to find a next generation solution for a highly secure, print anywhere, fleet of multifunctional-print devices.

The Ricoh SafeCom solution allows Tee’s Law’s staff - in excess of 200 employees including partners, solicitors and tax advisors - to send documents to print to any device in their fleet, then release them with the use of a special code or pass card.  Using this system, supplied by Ricoh, there is never the risk of highly confidential documents going to the wrong printer and being left inappropriately in an output tray and the sensitive material compromised.

A further benefit of the SafeCom, Print Anywhere solution is that jobs aren’t lost if one machine is down.  In this scenario the user can easily release their document from another device in the fleet, whether that is in the same building or even in a different location.  To see a demonstration of the SafeCom system click here:

“We are very happy with the fleet of machines and the customer service provided by System One.” Commented Andee Tyler, IT Manager, Tees Law.  “In our line of business we handle a lot of sensitive information and it’s imperative to make sure we have the best technology to safeguard our clients’ confidentiality both internally and externally.”

Bruce Belton, Director, System One, added: “The SafeCom solution is becoming increasingly popular with many of our clients who are seeking increased security.  Furthermore the ability to delete unwanted print jobs at any device or from your PC, means that customers experience substantial cost savings based on a reduction of cost per page charges and also saving on paper costs”.
